About the Course
Country Hills is an 18-hole, 6,414-yard par 72 public course in the heart of Central Illinois, a short drive from Springfield, Lincoln, Jacksonville and Bloomington. The front nine opened on July 4, 1993, and the back nine followed exactly nine years later on July 4, 2002, which makes 2026 the club's 33rd anniversary season.
The course plays on bentgrass greens with bluegrass and rye fairways, tees and rough, with three sets of tees. Practice facilities include a 300-yard driving range with three target greens, a practice sand trap, and a putting green.
The clubhouse snack and beverage bar serves sandwiches, snacks, soda, beer and mixed drinks, plus Red Barn Desserts made in the club's own kitchen. The pro shop carries FootJoy, Titleist and Country Hills gear, and the club backs every rate with a price match guarantee.
